The Board ordinarily meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at the Irmo Branch Library in the small meeting room. Please contact a Board member with any questions.

As documented in the Crosscreek of Irmo HOA Covenants and Bylaws, the purpose of our Association is to “provide for the preservation of the values and amenities of the property and to assure the best, most appropriate development and improvements of the property.” Within the Declaration of Covenants there is established an Architectural Review Committee. The purpose of the ARC is to insure that property matters addressed in the Covenants are in compliance. Therefore, although not all inclusive, the ARC reviews and submits to the Board approval or disapproval of plans for structures, lots, driveways, sidewalks, changes in exterior elevations, review of material, color schemes, light schemes, swimming pools, garages and other details that affect the exterior appearance of new or existing structures or lots. The ARC also reviews plans for landscaping, grading, fencing, etc. In order to manage ARC review requests, the Association has an ARC form available through this website for homeowners to facilitate the process in a timely manner. Please contact a Board member if you have questions about the form, the review process, or enforcement issues regarding the Covenants. Other issues that are in the purview of the ARC include maintenance of property, yards, placements of trash cans, etc. These issues may not require an ARC form to be completed but if the homeowner is not in compliance with the Covenants, the violation must be addressed and corrected. The Board will try to resolve violations at the lowest possible level but if not possible, the matter could escalate. That is why prior approval through the ARC form is so critical as well as a homeowner correcting violations that may not require an ARC form.
